Yes we need that EGO but what we do not need it for it to rule us on a conscious or unconscious state. We can break down EGO .

my ego mind does not kick or scream when I change anything in my life. it enjoys the ride.

Here I am not so sure. Things in life at times can be changed and EGO does scream out we just to not maybe see it as being EGO driven. What does kick in many timesi s our dreams....those hidden messages that if we can look at them or have them looked at even the worst nightmare might well have a possitive side to it. Does EGO enjoy the ride only if one lives in that place of EGO being in control and being blind to seeing what other's often point out.

my dreams have nothing to do with my ego and are valuable tools with insight and deeper wisdom.

I can not speak for where one is in a dream state....nor can I speak to how much EGO or control there of one has. What I can comment on is that I feel that EGO does play a role in one's dreams. If that EGO is a part of our waking life then it is a part of our sleep....it might well come in when we do not want to FACE what a dream's message is....til we are ready to listen or have it pointed out to us.

life is not about ignoring certain aspects of ourselves to try and be better than those aspects but to embrace each and every part of the whole.

That is the BEST outcome but sadly that is so not the place most walk in with being awake or a sleep. We all have things we want to ingore in life....and we honestly do a pretty good job of that. If one can not see whom is looking back in the mirror then one is hiding whom one can become. To embrace the WHOLE means to honestly LOVe whom one is physically and metnally not many can do that without finding a flaw. If ye can honesly say ye embrace the WHOLE one is then its job well done...

Asking your spirit guides to help you to remember will also be of some help. Let them know what your wanting and why, and they can help you in it.
