Rut is heating up where I'm at, and in turn that means Deer are even more oblivious to vehicles as evidenced by my front bumper. Bucks are separating from their packs and the does are running more. Out east, we've had a bit of a drought and it's moved up their season it seems.

Lol.......now just what exactly did you do with these polecats???

As you can suspects, even the bullies left me alone.

Nothing like standing about 1 foot from a polecat.

Old timers would say when you get that close, you grab the polecat tail and swing it into bag.

I suspect that wise a wise-tale.

Our season in Colorado has begun, depended on what you hunt with, archery, muzzle loader, rifle. The deer are definitely acting goofy!

BigJohn, if you are without weapon, I do not know when your season is.

Good luck out there and be safe!

I do not believe there is a season for polecats.....
But then that was when I was still in high school.

Here's a story about a family from New Zealand that feeds themselves by hunting because they just don't agree with how animals are treated at factory farms (and I feel the same way about it)

And yet they are bashed and sometimes even receive death threats for what they do....

That's just crazy to me!!! I applaud these people for there hunting lifestyle as I live that way too!!!

I think this girl is badass!!!

Fantastic video Sentient!!!

When I stayed with the Tsemay people of Eastern Africa....they practiced the exact same principles.

This is a common thread to all hunting cultures around the world.
