Can guides put thoughts in your head?

I am learning to differentiate between thoughts that come from my own line of thinking and thoughts that just POP into my head. I consider the latter as coming from - not me.

Sometimes I agree with these thoughts and sometimes I don't. I think the idea is to always consider - carefully - any thought or idea before acting on it. There are consequences to every action...

I think so there is something to it. I had a really strange experience that some people want but never happens. But it has left me with many questions

I was thinking about my spirit guide and about another topic, and I suddenly had a thought as a reply to that particular topic, although this came through as words I wouldn’t necessarily speak. It then happened again while I was debating the answer to a question, it was like a sudden thought/answer was planted in my head. I know this may sound like just my own thoughts but I got an overwhelming feeling of these two answers coming from my spirit guide.

Anyone else have similar experiences? What are your own beliefs on this? Hopefully I’m not going crazy, I don’t feel like I am!

yes! guides absolutely put thoughts into our heads. so do other malicious entities. when we are aligned with either positive emotion or negative emotion, different beings of both polarities will have access to us in that space and strengthen the thoughts of negativity or positivity. i actually believe, in a sense, that many of our thoughts are from somewhere else - the Universe and other higher dimensional beings and we are guided based on what we focus on as they help align the physical world based on our perception of reality as we are creators of our reality.

Dead on. This all takes time - to ensure a guide is a guide and not one's imagination throwing up internal arguments of conscience! Something popping into my head during a pathworking session and uttering "hey, I'm your guide!" needs caution.

Best to try to strike up a dialogue during periods of contemplation to see if what emerges (from the guide) is of benefit to one's spiritual aims or at least feels empathetic. (It may not be verbal, could be telepathic shots, could be things shown, feelings that creep into the moment.) There are small 'table-top' rituals to help learn their names and answer some questions but these can be tiring and may need bags of patience. Delusion is easy so if something doesn't seem to work today write it off and try again later.

Anyone who claims you can ask for a spirit guide and one will pop up straight away is probably a fraud. If one's ready then that could happen. If not, or one is vulnerable - emotionally or mentally - one could be walking into a trap.

To support the o/p question: Yes. Though it usually happens after the relationship has been established. That's what they're there for - to guide you in the "spiritual worlds".

It depends what you consider a guide to be. Are you talking spirit guide or living human guide?

All humans can put thoughts in your head once you attune yourself and it's hard to get rid of them. Learning to tune in has a need to learn tuning out too. The majority of thoughts given to you are from other people, very rarely spririts IMO

Probably not. Every good choice I made is all thanks to myself, and not some invisible imaginary friend. I used to believe in guides, but that's history because they never went far enough to prove their existence to me.
