What does it mean?

Hi there friends,

I need some help to a question inside me,
I saw my totem in a middle night, and it never comes again, recently I m thinking to reconnect, a friend of mine who stayed with a shaman for a year said i shouldn't push this to happen,just relax and don't think don't worry.
I was actually scared that night and still a bit scared even now, and i m a worrying person by nature.
Today I happen to read online that says--- the medicine of my totem is "Messager".
A few people also saw it in their meditation.
but i wasn't in meditation that night.
I m wondering what does it mean?
Does it mean I m a Messager from other worlds in future....or It is sending me a Message from there?what is it then?

Here is a suggestion about power animals, I assume this is what you post is about? See the movie "Jungle Book" while it is still showing. After seeing it, then meditate on what a power animal really is. What is your "totem" ???
