Sierra Love

The love of Christ is in the group,
This morning I ate my favorite soup
While Sierra mountains filled my view
And music flowed from morning dew.

Erotic Christ is in the pod
When sex is love, love is God.
Polyamory is the future Now,
Raising ecstasy to a Cosmic Wow!

Explorer21, the rhythmic flow of your poem is powerful. "The love of Christ is in the group" is a riveting line and I feel you are pointing out that there is NOTHING to fear about sexual love, love making and the power of group cocreation.

My "western civilization" cultural background equates women with sexuality and then tries to govern sexual energy as if it were actually negative. I believe that is an illusion spun by older energies which did not realize that we all contain masculine and feminine energies.

It is denied energetic presence that corrupts one's ability to be intuitive. I like the way your poem celebrates group potentials of consciousness. The metaphors of "soup" are significant, too. As we grow in our ability to process life as an everflowering whole we will realize that our Godness/Godessness is like soup, a blend of experientially chosen desires and intentions which never ever cease to work and flow together.

Congratulations on a cutting edge poem!

Starflower, thanks for your kind words and thoughtful comments. I'm delighted you find the first line riveting, because it was as though the whole line simply dropped into my head with very little thought on my part. The creation of the first quatrain flowed very readily, also.

Each and everyone of us contain both masculine and feminine energies, as you wisely said. I enjoy your soup metaphor comments.
