Full Moon August 3rd

Full Moon energies are upon us again :) August 3rd is full moon. It's in Aquarius.
So if there's a clear night you can put crystals in the window if you want.

It was crystal clear tonight here. Same last night :)
Right now the moon is so high up that its light doesn't get in the window anymore. But it was certainly beautiful! Especially when rising when it's still deep yellow.

I honestly do not remember a full moon having this strong of an effect on me. Even with my moon being in aquarius. Cycled through many full moons in aqua. Moon obsessed lately. Can't stop drawing it, researching it, feeling it, blah blah blah. Someone told me it may be all the other retrogrades tugging at the energy too.

Did some meditations and oil pastel work to honor it

Sorry to hear you had a hard time.
This moon was quite gentle and good for me :)
As for the rest... remember we are also in the buildup of the Lion's Gate portal. So far even that has been quite gentle for me, which is super nice as usually it's quite heavy and intense.
But knock on wood, we're not there yet!

It hasn't really been hard to deal with. It's hard to explain. It's deeply reflective on every level and has a strong pull this time around.

I haven't looked much into the lion's gate portal but I will now. I've seen it mentioned many times in articles and other places.

This full moon went by with the usual insomnia, except worse than usual as this time one of my cats was totally out of his mind lol! He put up a racket all night long and nothing I did pacified him. I don't let him out at night because of the wildlife going around, too dangerous for a cat.
So I don't know what was going on with that moon but it surely had a different effect.

It can be helpful to read up on what a particular full moon does energetically. Usually when that subject is something sensitive to you, you feel the effects of it more deeply.
I suppose that's why experience can change so much. This one was real easy for me and sometimes it's hard when it's easy for others. Very personal.

True, it's very personal... at home i'm the one reacting to the moons the most. I don't know if it's related to the fact that I'm a "water" sign (Pisces). I don't know enough about Astrology.
I've seen members of my household, being very irritable during certain full moon. And the cat I spoke about was restless, while another of my cats was just super playful even more than usual, and the others acting just like always.
