For one, I don't think "Christian-hating" is "bad." I see it as foolish, though.

And second, did you not see that my response to Vince was clearly a humorous one, and not an attack on New Age?

Baile, come on, you yourself have read some of my recent posts in this community, and they are obviously in alignment with much of what may be termed "new age."

I didn't hate on new age, I was happily making fun of Vince's statement that new age is satanic, which is why I made myself sound ridiculous, and why I ended my response with a deliberate contradiction (consulting a horoscope), followed by an animated smiley face. This one:

I've been away from SF for a while and just lately returned again and had forgotten how divisive Vince's threads are and that they tend to make people argue with each other.

It is interesting, in a morbid way, to see what happens as the energy he puts out plays itself out in the following response posts.

The ripple effect of our actions/thoughts/reactions and how that energy continues to ripple through others getting near it until dissipated, is very visible in threads like this and a really good reminder of one of the more subtle truths on the nature of energy.

His threads do not "make" people argue, but that indeed may be a response. So far, this thread has shown some disagreements, but this is not arguing in a back-and-forth debate sense, if you haven't noticed. This thread is no different than any other one may find on this site, in which each person has their unique perspective.

VinceField is a great catalyst for these types of interactions. This is done quite deliberately.

You're right, brother. "New age" is often used as a blanket term, whereas it is not just one set of beliefs and practices, but encompasses a wide variety of areas, as there are beliefs in a "new age" among many faiths.
