Crystals or gemstones what help to release blockages from the lower chakras

Hi there

For example when a person has white quartz does she needs to clear her energy before she starts wearing it? Or can she just wear it?
When I know and I have seen that there are problems in the lower chakras, can quartz (just wearing it) help?

personally I prefer water and moonlight. Rinse or leave them in water for a day or so (depending on the crystals, some rust of dissolve), dry them off and put them in the windowsill if the sun isn't too bright (exept my agates, they love sunbathing) or in the moonlight.

Always cleanse a crystal before use. I use sage and reiki. Sometimes I will leave them on the windowsill on a full moon.

Personally I do not wear plain quartz on its own unless my energy is very good. If you want a 'lower chakras' stone look for black/red/orange/yellow. One of my favourites is Tiger Iron - a combination of hematite, red jasper and tigers eye.

Black Kyanite, Carnellian, Some types of Garnet, Selenite, Merkabite calcite, ruby can also help with the root.

Cleanse and charge a crystal beforehand, as others have said. Ones for the lower chakras are jasper, carnelian, citrine, tourmaline, obsidian, bloodstone, ruby, fire agate, rhodonite (for the heart too).. that's all I can think of for now.
