although i appreciate your suggestions, I can only imagine that the best thing to do is continue what seems to be working. maybe i should get a pet, or something like that. since ive had two occurances of this working, it would definitely probably be in my best interests to try and recreate them, instead of searching for an elusive master.
I believe I should add that there is a TON of negative energy, blocking my heart center. I imagine, although I can't remember it well, I went through a lot, in childhood. this isn't some tiny amount , if thats what you might be thinking... there is an enormous heaviness and tightness in my heart area... its quite the ordeal, it seems.

Babaji, when I first began to explore my spirituality I had some very intense experiences as well. The purpose they served was to confirm - a sort of 'proof' - that I was headed in the right direction (for me). As I moved forward the intensity lessened, which allowed me to incorporate my spiritual path into my human life.
I still have intense experiences on occasion; they usually occur when I've come to a crossroads and have made a choice regarding which way to go from there, and they continue to serve the purpose of confirmation that I'm headed in the right direction. Once that purpose is fulfilled the intensity lessens considerably.
For me, these intense experiences are only briefly useful. As two of my personal goals are to 1) find and maintain my balance (physical, mental/emotional and spiritual) and 2) to incorporate spiritual awareness into my everyday life, my forward progress would be hindered if I continued to experience such extremes.
This may not apply to your situation, but I suspect it might. Perhaps you've been given these intense experiences as confirmation that you're headed in the right direction. Could be that you'd actually progress farther in clearing out all that negative energy by a more mindful process than having it done for you in quick, intense increments. Could be that, as others have suggested here, you're learning to heal yourself and to clear out that negative energy on your own.
Having help while you proceed with your healing/clearing can be quite beneficial, and so as someone else suggested here, if you're able to adopt a cat it might be exactly the helper you need, not to continue with those intense experiences but rather to support your mindful efforts to heal/clear yourself.
Just my take on it.
In any case, please keep us posted as you explore your options and figure things out. =-)
