Just thought I would mention a really interesting thing that happened this morning. My daughter came up to me this morning ( she is 6) and she said, " momma, do you remember the movie 9"? We haven't watched it since last summer. My reaction went like this She's a def an indigo. 9 isn't a movie I would recommend for small children either, and this one made her emotional and inspired. I haven't watched it! Lol. I think Ill watch it from an adult perspective tonight.

Now that is a good one!! Thanks!

I would also like to add one I remembered yesterday after reading this thread.
It's not like this one at all. But, it certainly deals with the darkness that's in the soul. It is not the kind of movie I would normally watch. But, my husband asked me to watch it with him one evening. So, I did. It was a good movie. But, hard to watch. LOL At least for me. Very graphic! It's called "Night Train". It's the one with Danny Glover. There is another movie by the same name I think.

I wouldn't recommend watching the trailer. It gives a little away. But, it is still a worthy watch. Creepy as "blank" to me to know we all live around people that would stoop to this.

I plan on watching The Seventh Seal (1957)

Premise: A man seeks answers about life, death, and the existence of God as he plays chess against the Grim Reaper during the Black Plague.

It's apparently, one of the best movies of all time. Looking forward to it!

K-Pax - The bluebird scene

How about K-Pax. It is interesting when the alien Prot tells the guy in the mental hospital to keep on looking for the blue bird in the garden and that he will be cured from his mental illness if he spots the blue bird.

This is my best favourite film ever.

I'm not sure if anybody has mentioned The Life of Pi, but it was 'wow' for me.

Apocalypto (2006)

Directed and produced by Mel Gibson was really great imo. Its rather gruesome so caution. It protrays a bit of ancient cultures and their spiritual practices. The ending with the the Spanish conquers and the priests with their long crosses was probably the most powerful scene for me. It signified that a big shift was about to occur.
