I did some searches and I stand corrected Yogananda DID teach this particular technique to 'some'...but ask
any devotee in your town that has practiced 20 yrs and they will know 3 techniques only.
Tho, there are others. After 20 yrs are they not advanced enough? I dunno..
I wonder if you contacted these people if they could tell you about a master?

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Dear Miss Hepburn, I do know one SRF centre near me (In Italy) but I know Yoganandaji made some changes in the Kriya (which is also logical as he wants to spread yoga in western) but I am interested in original kriyas. And the most I authentic is, I believe that, Panchanan Bhattacharya Ji's lineage is one of the most purest one till now. I am already initiated into Kriya in Dr. Ashok Kumar Chatterjee's lineage. I am doing it regularly. But, I am so much attracted to Panchanan ji, that I decided to take again initiation into Panchananji's lineage. I even found some kriyawans who is from PB lineage but they are not initiating me as they are not authorised from their guru to initiate others. so helpless and hence I turned here.
Thanks.

Italy? How funny, that's where Swami Kriyananda lived and died.
There is an Ananda Center in Assisi.
He was a direct devotee of Paramahansa. Yogananda would dictate books to Kriyananda (Donald). Ha.

Indeed. I went to the Ananda Centre just outside Assisi back in 1992 which is where I was first initiated into Kriya Yoga. They were lovely people, and the community happily lacked the dogmatism which unfortunately seems to prevail in SRF. But when you read more deeply about Kriya practices then the Kriya Yoga taught at Ananda and SRF seems quite simplistic.

Peace
