Near Death Experience still haunts me

My nde happened when i was 12. I am now 63.

They made me come back. I didn't want to. In fact, I fought them to stay. However, there's no going against the plan over there.

It was the beautiful, all-encompassing light of love that we all hear about. Nothing like anything experienced here on earth.

I don't know why I was sent back. I've been looking at you tube videos on the near death experience. All of the people that didn't want to come back were told that they had a job on earth that needed to be done.

Well, I'm 63 now. The only job that was ever close to my heart was raising my three daughters. Well, they are raised and doing fine. Now what????

I want to go home.

Hi NDE_er. That's a good story. Maybe there's more time to get some more learning and growth in? Who knows what the plan is eh?

Good grief! That was 50+years ago! Maybe it's about time you learned to be less impatient and demanding.

Maybe the powers that be 'up there' need you to be more appreciative of what you have and learn to enjoy being present (here and now).

Perhaps the 'job' you had return to tend to pertained more so to your internal (spiritual) growth while experiencing the opportunities afforded to you while having this life experience?

Sometimes 'work' is not always actions and something we do in the world in relation to others - but 'inner work' (introspection, contemplation, reflection)...

Perhaps patience.
Or maybe to learn that heaven is (also) inside of you...wherever you are is just fine (this planet is not that bad).

I believe "the job" can be a personal lesson too, not only "saving the world".

Bringing three good, kind-hearted, well-balanced young people into the world sounds like a damn fine job to me in its own right!

Friend, you are here. On Planet Earth and on Spiritual Forums (so 'aware').

I have to agree with knightsofalbion that is a job in its self,we may not be aware of why we were sent back but everyone you meet can teach you something.i have had 3 nde my guide told me I had to come back twice because I still had work to do.once my grandmother told me to teach our ways to others, I have Native blood in me and my grandmother taught me a lot about mother earth.etc I am also a medium a qualified counsellor and a spiritual healer. I didn't want to come back either I haven't had an easy life either.

NDE'er, you make it sound like raising your children wasn't much. You come across as bitter and fed up with life. You haven't learned to enjoy life since the experience.

Hello

There might not be something for you still to experience this might well be something for your daughters to experience. We are said to be connected in Soul Families and in that a times we are there to have part of the family line have experiences and we are the vessel for that. it might well be having and aging parent and what might well come along with that being the lesson your to give.

I had my NDE at 21 and I had the "choice" to come back and change the life path I was on or be taken the next time for good. I remember the feeling that staying would NOT be a good plan as I would not have been able to clear the dark path I was on.

From the age of 21 I have had non stop pain daily but I am happy to be here still even in pain, I have three teens and a new husband and life is not bad. Try and find something that gives one something to do in life. A reason for life as life is a rare and precious thing. Home might be fleeting for the Soul you have as you might well be sent right back into action.

Lynn

Oh you have already done a wonderful job.....to raise 3 daughters. That may have been hard work at times and sometimes tough and apparently unrewarding. But believe me -it is a good job.

You will be 'home' and it will not take long. These years we find so hard-going are just the blink of an eye when viewed from another dimension.

I also want to go home. But sometimes concentrate, and when I do -find that elements of 'home' are already here right now with me. It is not in another place. It is in the Heart.
