How do you draw your cards?

I tend to relax and keep shuffling the cards whilst asking a question. Sooner or later a card drops out and that's the one I pick.

I always shuffle the cards three times per spread/question, they know the routine!

pluss on my decs i dnt go by book i look it pics on dec try to sea pic in thngs i can pic up coz sumtims book dnt tell u full pic thy dnt coz thy cud be thngs book dnt tell u lk a small anmill or a childd or few thngs thy dnt tell u

No I don't go by books, I look at the card and interpret it for the question that's been asked.

I also relax and shuffle the cards - then I spread out in a line and manually select however many cards I need for whatever spread :) I go through phases where I'll look at the bottom card or calculate the Quint card (currently doing neither).

I shuffle, then cut the deck where I'm drawn to and take the top card.

I'm a dowser and sometimes I dowse for cards; my pendulum will start swinging in a 'yes' position over a card and I can get three or more cards. Then I have to figure out what the message is. At times, this feels a good way to get insight into a problem and particularly if I feel my intuition is a little off.

I had to stop and think about this one.

I always shuffle the deck and if a "Flyer" comes out right off then that is the base card for the rest of the reading. Its like the title page of a report.

I shuffle and cut and then pull the top card, then depending on the energy I feel I might pull a card from the top again. Or I re shuffle the deck and at times pull a card from the appox. center of the deck.

For me its all about the energy, it is rare that I use a formal spread layout as I do not read the meanings of the cards from the meanings that are in a guide book, its all intuition.

While I do work with specific questions most times I find that the cards used will KNOW what your really asking for in answers without a question.

I shuffle and mix. There is a technique my grandmother taught me of mixing the cards, you know that old card trick where you shuffle and then bend the cards slightly to mix them, up and then again downwards?

In other words I shuffle like I am playing poker, and I deal the same meaning I do not accept strays or fliers. Those will be put back at the bottom of the deck as opposed to being used, and I deal the spread out with whatever cards are at the top area after shuffling. The only thing I haven't tried is cutting the cards- like dreamjo mentioned.

I do not pick and choose cards by pendulum or intuitively. I put the faith that the cards that come up are to be the ones to use and that's it, the straight poker shuffle.
