I don't watch scary movies because well.. they do a very good job at scaring me.
So, I just read Wiki about the movie 'Life'.
Every planet, just as in this earth, there are many life forms.
If aliens come and decide to take one of our wild carnivorous animals, 'a lion or alligator', they will have the same fate as those earth astronauts in that movie.
One specie sample does not represent all life forms in a life sustaining planet.
Just like here on earth, most life forms probably will be at the lower levels in the intelligence scale.
