"reason"

All of a sudden my mind jetted off on the subject of "reason". What it really? Can be one of two things. You reason with a loved on to get permission to buy something dumb. Or you notice your carpet is dirty witch gives you a reason to vacuum it. Your reasoning behind doing something. So now think like a little child where your reasoning isn't "find tuned". Where things are just simply as they are. Without reason. Think about how simpler that time was. Ya I know as you get older you have to deal with more responsibility's so on and so on. But like anything reasoning in all its forms can be just as good as it is bad. Here's what I mean. You want to look good or important to your peers. So you buy that new over priced car you'll drive for 3to5 years before you have to get that new one to keep up with your peers. Ok, so your not interested in material things and don't mind driving an older vehicle. Let say you become consumed in what's "trending". The latest food, or spiritual craze. New "reasons" are always coming around. Before you know it you forget who you really are. Why your really alive. Some people even forget there actually real living people. I can recall my most happiest time in my life I was between the ages of 5 and 12. Then all the reasoning of reasons began. Now it seems like there's 10 definitions to every sentence spoke. What happened between the age of 10 and now? I still want to live and explore. That never changed. I guess I'll never understand why life got so confusing when my own personal goals never changed. I feel I am good at keeping it simple but what about the rest of the world? I am sure there's more confused people out there. Is "reasoning" like an adult always a good thing. What if more adults reasoned like a 10 year old more often ,black is black/White is white. Would we and the people around us feel the same joy and freedoms? Idk.... just a thought. Thanks for your time 😊

Those are really good reasons why having reasons are overrated.

There's reasons for everything, hahaha. But why look for reasons to make something more complicated?..... Is it the constant quest to look for answers?.... Hmmmm probably is.

I enjoyed what you wrote about your life between ages 5-12.
For me, the years were between ages 5-11.

Near where I live is a town devoted to the western, cowboy theme. I am amazed of the men who drive the stagecoach
which I occasionally engage in conversations. According to them, it took them a long time to learn how to harness the horses.
For me, I don't think I ever learned such a thing, I just put the harness on the horses.

I agree for the most part. It appears as though we do automatically then the mind makes up a reason after we already unconsciously decided.
