How do you know if you are in your final incarnation

I was told once that if I did a certain thing, that I wouldn't need to revisit earth again.

I think this was somewhat a deluded position as there was a vested interest by someone else at stake, and we never achieved what we meant to do.

But this has stayed with me as i have explored reincarnation and past lives, and I wonder what people know about whether or not they will be back, and how they know it?

I'm not sure where I'm at - I think there are plenty of things for me to do and I believe I will be back.

I was told once that I'm at the end of my incarnations, but I haven't even tried to figure out if I feel that's true or not because I really don't care.

I think that if it is a person's last incarnation that they'll probably know it before the "end" comes. Do you think?

What Lahiri Mahasaya finally "went thru", or experienced..indicating he would
no longer be coming back here was quite amazing.
You can find it in Ch 34 of Autobiography of a Yogi.

An utter detachment of human "things"...even identifying with the "human condition",
that being inhabiting a 'meat suit', having arms and legs...would be key, imo.

When one identifies, again utterly, that they are soul or Soul...not that they have a soul...
Would be an indicator to me of not needing to be here.

Our lessons would take on higher knowledge, imo.

I think, even if our intent is to have a final incarnation things can change.. I believe and have been told this will be my last one, and I am indeed whizzing through tying up loose ends for everyone,( often that is the case to resolve everything) my PLs, spirit guides, my charges and spirits that ask for help. I may not be able to do it all and either come back ( preferably not) or pass the jobs onto others, or just work faster.. but at my own detriment...!!

I think you know. If you feel like your ready for another already then it's a good chance you'll be back. As for me, deep down I know this is my last, & I'm more then ok with it. I've seen the other side & am not afraid of dying, but am in no rush either. I'm enjoying my life even though I have a lot of physical pain I believe that it's what is making my spirit stronger.

A Shaman told me last lifetime was to be my last 3D incarnation and I was slated for the 4th dimension reincarnation, but that not all in my soul family were ready to transition so I chose to come back and assist them.
Who knows, oddly enough it does seem to be playing out that way to some extent and I even know who those Soul Family members are and they are in various stages of experiencing their eternal selves and their larger abilities and infinite connections....the last year and a half has been spent traveling around the world and staying with them for a bit and helping them experience what they really are and can actually do once relieved from the beliefs taught to them and freed of their 'Gestapo of the pre-frontal cortex' as someone once called it. lol

Is it true? Is it so? Who knows in the end, it's all a fabulous Mystery mostly veiled. There is a humorous light heartedness to the Mystery and other times discoveries are earth shakingly profound....

There is MORE...that much I know now, what it is remains a sweet dangling carrot inviting us to go further and farther down that Path.

I think a lot would depend on what you do in this life . The karma you deal with , ect. To quote D. Sutphen " wisdom erasses karma " .
