I had never even heard of it until you mentioned it, and I had to look it up to discover what it is all about.

Obviously, since I'm not familiar with it, I'm not in a position to comment on it. However, it's always interesting to learn about different practices.

I don't know anyone who practises Won but from what I have read it looks quite refreshing, it incorporates Taoism, Confucianism and Buddhism, three great Masters teachings joined together can only be good.

Besides his extraordinary quality of thinking, are there other rare stories about this man?
Just like there are rare stories about Krishna, Buddha and Jesus?

I'd be really interested to see how taoism and confucianism are combined. The 2 schools of thought are really very different from each other. I'm led to believe that in reality the 2 philosophers (Confucius and Lao Tzu ) didn't really like or agree with each other very much.

There's no doubt in my mind that there would be quite a few stories about this philosopher and his students but I don't know any. Maybe the taoist section of our forum would be a good place to start looking.

I haven't looked into the Won teachings yet but I found a Meditation which incorporates focusing on the Dantiens.
I am going to explore it more later it looks interesting.
