Yes, and going one step further, in tantric philosophy everything is said to be Consciousness. Consciousness is either not moving (potential energy) or moving (kinetic energy). Every god in the Hindu pantheon has a male representing consciousness and a female representing the energy of that consciousness (it's corresponding "shakti").

Through some kind of spiritual practice like meditation one can begin to experience the subtler forms of energy beyond the gross one. And the deeper one goes into the energy of something (the life force or prana or chi of something) eventually one attains the consciousness that is producing it.

At a simple level, a potato can produce enough electrical charge (gross energy) to work a clock. But a person who is sensitive to its subtle energies can tell whether this potato was grown in organic soil or grown using pesticides or other contaminants (because the prana is greater when it's purer).

There's no difference between the 'personal term' and the 'scientific term'. This is the whole reason behind why I chose Nikola Tesla as my avatar!

I also believe he came through last night, but I cannot humbly admit this. I just felt the 'energy' of a being wholly comprised of it and made the immediate association and connection.

Tesla has said that to understand the secrets of the universe, we need to think in terms of: 1. Energy. 2. Frequency and 3. Vibration.

Energy without any of these forces rests in an inert state, a state of potential, inhibited flux - think kundalini.

When the vibration and frequency of the chakras reaches the highest state, in resonance with the universe, it activates the whole energy potentiality matrix turning it into 'force' or 'will'.

Everything is made from energy at different densities, frequencies and vibrations...the lower frequencies and vibrations represent energy appearing to us as the material product of the speed of light squared, of corz.

Above and below rests other forms of energy...

Think of energy as the 'universal breath' that the whole universe breathes.

I love playing around with it...directing it...transforming it...harnessing it...releasing it...oh Tesla...so much we could have shared intellectually had we both been alive simultaneously...*sigh*

I use the term 'energy work' because people think they have an idea of what that means. Really it such a vague term that it explains nothing.
