or i suppose the dark entities that are nameless and some people are aware of Ive been reading up a bit on this in tibetian buddhism there seems to be more about this. But some forms of buddhism would say it is an illusion of the mind while others would say it doesnt matter there is no distiction between inside and outside anyway, and others would say protect yourself from them as you would a man wielding a knife.
I just wondered what everyones take on this would be

If firm in your practice then these entities do not harm anyone.. You can read the biographies of the yogis and see the often funny scenarios of their encounters with different kinds of supernatural beings. In Tibetan lore there is a lot of instruction on protective techniques and visualisations of guardian deities as well.
