You mean petting my cat who panicked 2 nights ago being chased by the other cat
so she used my sleeping face as a spring board and
now I should have a pretty good scar under my eye in a few weeks.

I had just had it up to here with suffering and worked very hard and steadfastly and
resolutely to connect with Reality....that being Satchitanand...God... as Himself, the Eternal
Lover of our Souls...why experience anything else when we CAN experience that!
See? So, suffer enough with heartbreak, get fed up...and this resolution may happen to you, too!

Awch. I hope your face is OK now. I got a few really hard (unintentional) scratches from my cat too but I still love him
Maybe she is teaching you unconditional love

Oh, I wasn't even mad.
It happens...it healed, but it's puffy...I sure don't like that part!

Disappointment, mourning death, the grief of breakups...until one day you wake

And your determined search begins... 
Then, the searching stops because you have found the answer, the secret of life...the reason for all of creation!

Dearest Miss Hepburn, I would be the most interested in that story part, where you start finding God. Now, when I go meditate, I am asking " I would love to experience that, which Miss Hepburn and moretocome experiences.  "
I did experience all body tingling and other fun feelings, but I want to feel that absolute love. At the same time I am practicing surrender, and I am also surrendering my expectations of how it should feel. 
And you are so right about suffering, although in my case it is a bit weird. I learned in many methods to make myself feel good, however it feels like a resistance since I manifest things I do not like and then I use all those methods to feel better all the time. I am a bit tired of that game. I want to surrender all of my attachments and fears and fully trust my Source. And I want to connect to it and enjoy that one true absolute love. I do experience it in nature, and I would love to experience it everywhere.

I think I will send you a pm...I do have some things to say about this...
Funny, a big change happened because of a thread here started by
'Divine Love' who doesn't post here anymore.
I learned for the first time (around 2011 here) about the soul transforming power that God's,
our Father's, our Creator's Divine Love has....
and how do we receive it?
Asking. Asking 'Him' (Who has no gender) directly...no begging or crying ....just ask with the faith that
He will give it to you...and maybe when you least expect it.

Regarding not having attachments and fears..I will add worries,
a manifestation of fear...this is what you have to do....
Stop the mind from having any thoughts that are fear based in any way.
Period.
It is a trick of the mind...this is where you/we must practice 'Thought Control'.
When you begin to stop worry...you will see how often the mind
has gotten into the habit to worry...to fear about being late, how will the rent be paid,
how will I ever get this job...and on and on it goes.
When it does this...you simply stop it and talk to God...Tell Him ,
"I know it has been said to 'give you my burdens'...Well, fear, anxiety, worry are big burdens...
I am going to trust YOU to take care of
ALL my fears, insecurities and cares."
Then, you stop...you stop every thought that is about the fear of something.
Anything.

This is enough to digest...and it is what I did in 2006...so it
is part of my story you asked for.
I completely and totally began trusting God in every way...for e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g ....bar none.
And 'He' never failed me...ever.
Your trust will grow so that you will rely on nothing else.
Then, because this is the Meditation Section....you take your heart
into your meditation and direct it to your Source...I simply call God.
