Question Rejecting Information from a Reader

I recently had a small reading done with someone who is usually really good. She read for me on two questions and both answers were kind of negative. I did my own reading for one of the questions and it was positive. Then for my second question, my reading took a more negative turn. (I had read previously on that question with a positive outlook).

I did a separate reading about some advice she gave me and the answer I received was "misinformation or misunderstanding."

I am not fully rejecting the reading because I am open to accepting negative answers. But has anyone ever rejected what someone has read for them? I guess what I mean is, to reject the information and continue thinking positive? And how did it turn out?

I am also wondering if there could have been something to do with her own energy that was overshadowing the reading. Or maybe my own energy.

Thanks.

Hello

Readings are not something set in stone, you might get what you "feel" is a negative reply to what your heart wanted but its a guide line to show you other paths that might be open. Maybe what you "want" right now is not in balance with a "need". There is a difference in the path of things that will come to you if they are not grounded in a foundation.

Readings for yourself by you put your energy into the reading and often get a message that you do not like but is the one that you truly should pay closer attention to.

I'm in agreement with Lynn, outcomes are never set in stone.
Maybe, at the time of reading the outcome was negative due to the time not being right, or an unforseen occurrence needing to take place. Readings are only ever a snapshot taken in that moment.
It's perfectly fine to reject a reading, you, after all are in control of your destiny through freewill and which fork in the road you choose to walk down.
Maybe ask your cards how you can change the outcome.

Often the negative leads to OVERCOMING ....... reject the negative and it can grow in power and hold us back ........ accept the negative as something to OVERCOME ~!

I never allowed a reading ..... no desire to be burdened by misunderstanding and misinformation ~

Within Consciousness our answers are uncovered ~ UNCOVER them in Inner Stillness and Silence the senses which stand in the way~

Yes.

You can reject a card reading, a message from a clairvoyant, or anything.

I had three card readings done by my Swiss penpal. The first one was too good to be true, and I half-heartedly believed it. The second one was just bad news, and I was extremely sad, and thus rejected it. The third one was very unusual and hard to understand, so I forgot about it.

Regardless of my own attitudes toward the three readings, they all came true, exactly the way she described them.

Regarding positive or negative readings, what I was taught is that, there's nothing inherently positive or negative.

Considering that you did several readings on the questions yourself, and had someone else do readings on them too, suggests that they are important to you. And that you'd want a positive answer.
That does increase the chance of being very biased when you do the readings, and feeling unhappy -maybe confused even- when you don't get the answer you want, or when you start getting varying answers.
I guess what it comes down to is that when something really matters to us, we shouldn't do a reading ourselves. But we all do, don't we
I know I put my foot in it all the time. I'm real good at getting myself all upset, lol. Glutton for punishment. Sometimes I just chuck the cards in the cupboard and forget about it. Well, try to.
You have no idea how angry I have been with my Lenormand deck! Livid! And I'm still not completely over it, lol.

Of course someone else can be wrong, but then ask yourself: does it really feel like the incorrect answer or do you have difficulty accepting it?

Hi
There are some things about the future that you can change. Its like currents in a river you can't change the very strong ones but you can change the weaker ones. I don't read to know some blind fate. A reading may enable me to change something. Perhaps you changed something.

Yeah the woman read on a person I met and told me that they were on a bad path and were not good for me. I had done my own reading and it said positive things. Then another lady a long time ago had predicted I would meet this person and said he would be good for me.

So not sure what she felt about him that was so negative, but I have yet to see any personal characteristics in this person that are not positive.

Interesting anyways. Thanks for all the responses.

Well, I agree with what others have said about readings not being set in stone. Also, a good reader can always be really off occasionally. If it did not resonate, things may have changed, you may have caught someone on a bad day or you may just be wanting the other outcome. I try to check with a third party if it is ambiguous.
