OBE - First time and I'm freaked out

I was very sleepy last night, my eyes were tired but my body had lots of energy like I was restless or some kind of divine sign. I went to sleep, all of the sudden I am floating above my body looking downward at my face (my eyes are wide open) but I am in perspective of my soul floating and looking at my empty body. I see my face, eyes and tattoos but I am in spirit form. My body was not me and I was laying on my back but nothing was there, I was my energy above me. Then my body eyes closed. Then my spirit approached my body as if it were going inside. It reached its arms out to go inside my body arms and said "You are beautiful, every day" like it was singing. Then my heart shook and I looked at my night stand and things wer floating like a real spirit was picking up my lamp. I was terrified.

I Have never seen spirits or whatever. What is going on? Can anyone educate me on OBE? Am I dead? Can someone help me out with the purpose of this experience?

You are definitely not dead you were just having an OBE which is a nice experience by the way. You get to see how it would be like when you die and maybe that will help you not fear death.

the purpose may have been to acclimate you to some new experiences.
you'll want to unlearn some things that have taught you to be fearful;
there is no just cause for fear in an empowered being, which is what you're
opening up to being (more fully/consciously).

I am highly sensitive and it strikes fear in me. My body flinches, shocks, and jolts my brain when I am not fully engaged. It's like I am daydreaming or not fully aware of my surroundings when I am "awake" but I literally feel a electric shock in my brain and my body a couple times a week. Like I wash my hands, and I am bent over at the automatic sensor facet and it doesn't recognize my hands, suddenly it turns on and my body "reacts" and freaks out like I was sleeping or not fully using my being. What causes this? I hear voices..... Another topic are voices spirits? And are these voices a part of my brain or are they outer beings? Like if I hear a woman voice say "break up with your girlfriend" is that like a day dream where it is literally happening inside my brain like a real dream?

That was a really interesting and good first time out-of-body experience!
That's how it feels....the 'real you' suddenly realises that it isn't that body at all. It takes it off just as easily as we take off a coat. And when the coat is taken off, we walk away and never feel that "we are the coat" haha! Although the 'coat' (body) is a useful thing.

It always feels somewhat shocking to get out for the first time. Wondrous but slightly shocking too.

Don't worry too much about seeing things floating. Doesn't mean other Beings were messing about or anything like that at all. Usually when we first step out it's into the denser environment surrounding the physical world. It's a much finer dimension than the physical but really dense compared to the Astral levels. It's also quite an unpredictable environment where weird effects can happen. (Such as seeing the room completely dark when you know it's daylight outside....seeing pictures on the walls, where you know there are no pictures....finding yourself suddenly wearing jeans and boots, even though you know you went to sleep in pyjamas and bare feet (lol) or some other distortions of what you know as normal reality of your room or environment.
Once I went out and saw the overhead light-shade from all angles at the same time (peculiar experience and almost indescribable!)

Your experience sounds amazing actually for a first time!

The purpose of the experience? To show you you are a multi-dimensional Being and that fact is freaking real and 100% tangible! wow
