What are some useful tips to manifest things in your life ?

Not sure if you've read/watched The Secret but I'm pretty obsessed with it. I think the key to really manifesting your desires is believing beyond a doubt that you will achieve/receive what you want. You have to think like you already have what you want. Close your eyes and just picture yourself doing it or having it. If you have any doubts, the universe will know! Can't fool it. My favorite things to do are positive affirmations: I am successful. I will get a job this week. I am smart. I stand out. Etc. I also like to write or just imagine the future I want as if it were a book or movie. If you want a job imagine yourself at your interview, imagine them calling you to let you know you got it, imagine celebrating the news and feel that excitement, imaging going to the job. The Law of Attraction needs good thoughts and no doubts! If you say/think things like "I hope I don't get a bill." The universe hears BILL and you'll probably get one. Instead think "There is a check in the mail on it's way to me." Imagine opening it and being excited!

I highly recommend reading Wishes Fulfilled by Dr. Wayne Dyer. It goes deeper into the law of attraction and how you can really put it to good use. Here's a cheat sheet for manifesting:

connected to the Great Creator. (Limitless power)
3. Feel in your mind, body, and soul what it would be like to live your
big dream, then assume it has already happened.
4. Focus on your highest self and what it desires. Let positive
thoughts guide you.
5. Let your mind be open to all possibilities.

Be realistic. Be patient. Keep going. Believe in it.

Hi Memo, First thing: "But manifesting never seems to work" You must change your thoughts. Repeat after me: MANIFESTING WORKS! Tie a string around your wrist and wear it all day. Every time you touch the string, every time you see the string, repeat "Manifesting works!" Then, like CrystalSong suggested, start with something small. Like "I have a new toaster." (just an example). Always keep things positive--that's the biggest hurdle with people new to the Law of Attraction. Best wishes!!
