The nature of addiction

Addiction is god and the angels forcing people to addict to a chemical or an action .

No chemical can addict you to it our minds are more powerful than any chemical . however our minds are not more powerful that god and the angels who govern our world .

Think about it , if alcohol was addictive why do some people have too drink lots each day and others can drink moderately perhaps once can week in some cases alcohol has no power over us

The same with cigarettes some can smoke a couple in the evening others have to smoke 60 or more a day .

Addiction is the forceful will of god and the angels who force us to consume chemical products or food or even make us addict to other things non chemical like porn .

God and the angels give us karma and addiction can be part of that karma . the addiction may carry between individuals .

Addictions are forced upon us so can only be cured by god and the angels through prayer .

Addiction is not chemical based because porn addiction has no chemicals in it .

Addiction is bad karma , and can come about after sins committed to others .

I have yet to meet a person who doesn't have an addiction.
Cell phones, Social media, shopping, TV, Eating And even posting on here.

Every thought in the brain carries a chemical release that causes emotion. so even porn addiction can be rooted to a chemical addiction even if the subject doesn't FAP.

studies have been done to show the correlation between the release of chemicals from thought and addiction to those chemicals. they even made the link to being addicted to sadness and depression.

Scientifically speaking an addiction to helping people is no different than one who is addicted to drugs or the high from getting a lot of likes on FB. They are all the same its the person and how they react to the physical that changes the outcome.

Maybe you wrongly understand addiction. It can't always be directly interpreted and has possibly some other characteristic, that you can't see.
Even if you block it, it doesn't mean, it isn't there.

All can be balanced, there is no need to over do something. But still there is some bigger path, that we are missing, trapped into addiction.

Even if you have no addictions, this can be your addiciton. So strong will batteling against addictions that this becomes it.

Balance is the path, but still isn't the main topic.

sometimes, one is just as addicted to trying not to be addicted as one is to the addiction itself. This winds in on itself, like a spring. Only way I've found to unravel it is go backwards and let the original addiction shine through for however long it has to to get over trying to get rid of it. But it takes a little faith...

Addiction arises out of the erroneous belief that joy of a permanent nature can be attained from impermanent sense-objects and sensory pleasures.

Usually these are very strong impressions in the unconscious due to repeated activity, and its momentum forces one to strive for pleasures in this regard, again and again, inspite of the realization that the pleasure is temporary.

Practice of meditation or Awareness erases all such embedded impressions, and enables one to attain self-mastery in this regard. The bliss attained through meditation is superior to sense-pleasures of any sort, and this too can help one to overcome the pull of addiction to sense-pleasures.

Perhaps NLP can also be helpful in this regard to get rid of negative habits and replace with better ones.

Addiction becomes a reality only when we see its results, therefore, the addict incarcerated in a psychological prison or a real prison. Seeing results in terms of human suffering lead us to the conclusion that there is an addiction at work. This addiction might be correlated to the human anatomy in terms of chemical functioning but I'm not aware myself of attempts to cure addiction with the help of medicine. I'm sure its happening though.

Addictions are in reality, just good or bad habits. If you want to be free of an addiction all you have to do (and I know it's not soooo simple) is to break the habit. You can also replace a bad habit with a good one or with another bad one or with nothing.

We often feel safe inside our habits, we don't have to constantly face the world.

A world one makes oneself.
