This just breaks my heart!!!!!

A photo of an elderly man out to dinner on valentines days....apparently by himself has gone viral on social media....

At first glance the man who is seen crying into his napkin appears to be waiting for his date...there are two glasses of wine poured and what looks like a card and gift.

Except his wife...actually her ashes... are across from his chair in a bottle sitting in a bag.

I just cried as soon as I realized what this photo really represented..... I wish this poor man soooo much blessings that his grief may pass.....and only the wonderful memories of what he and his wife had can remain with him.

Where are the ashes - in the ice bag?

It only says "apparently" so it may not be true.

I am choosing to believe that he is a scientist whose partner/wife is there but because of a lab experiment gone wrong she is very, very small ....

Perhaps now she really is "in his ear" & that is the real reason for his tears ...?

All mainstream media is fake news, that includes Fox. -shuts up before things get too political-

Either way they is a sad story. Loss can really affect a person.

I don't see an urn, the photo was lifted from facebook, and are two Valentines cards on the table.

A loss is hard at the best of times but on days like Valentines day when there is a public display of affection, loneliness can be felt even more by people who are
grieving for their loved ones or single.
I wish the old man well, whoever he is, bless him
