Np Ilovecats! Thank your cat for me I needed to hear that all is well. To be serious, I'm sure cats and other nonhuman animals have a kind of spiritual capacity that no human could ever have.

Shivatar, that's a very important point imo. The first problem is even intellectually understanding it. Very few people even agree with the idea that all beings are infinitely worthy. The reason I know it is because channeled material such as ACIM and books by authors such as Dovreen Virtue and Paul Ferrini teach it.

So one challenge is to believe it at all. Secondly, ACCEPTING it is a completely different matter. Intellectual assent and deep, total acceptance are two entirely different things. I've understood it for many years now, but still haven't managed to fully accept, or 'remember' it.

Everyone is a being of infinite worth. Everyone is priceless to God. You're worth more than all the money in the world. Perhaps if you have children, you would consider them 'priceless' to you as well.

Also, related to the idea of 'worth' is the concept of 'worthiness'. Certainly the two have the same linguistic origin.

ACIM teaches that we're all 'equally worthy' - indeed, INFINITELY worthy.

Our infinite worthiness is one of many aspects of our divine nature.

I must admit those were some cheerful words from your non-physical friend, even though I think enlightenment has more to do with being aware on how you treat other people and as well display a reasonable level of self-reflection. Why do I think this is enlightenment? Because if everyone was this way, Earth would without doubt be a slightly better place.

Honest question, just from curiosity: why do you think that 'Earth being a slightly better place' would be a purpose of the higher realms, and their inhabitants?

Well I couldn't care less what the higher realm dwellers think to be honest, I simply have my own opinion about what I deem to be good for Earth from my own perspective. If they look their arrogant noses down on my errors from up in the clouds, that's their own issue.
