Strange pain in the abdominal region

I do not know which is the best topic to describe my feelings. I requested an answer on soulmates topic, but I really do not know if it was the right place to talk about it. I would like to hear your opinion about the situation below or please help me to find an answer :). Thank you so much!

Everytime I was in contact with one person I really loved in my life, the only person I loved (talking about romantic relationship), I felt a strange pain in the abdominal region, like a twinge near my belly button. Very intense, strong.

I have never felt like this before, when I am anxious or nervous my feelings are completely different. I had sad experiences or experiences were I was very anxious but the symptons were completely different.

It was only in contact with this person, I mean when we were talking, sometimes at distance, before I see him, or when he was close.

We are not in contact anymore. I still like him, but he married other girl and he has a family now. I never felt this again. I met other persons and I feel normal, Nothing similar happened with me.

Do you know if this thing can be some spiritual context involved?
