I find that I do believe in the concept of reincarnation. There are certain experiences that I have had that reinforce the concept of the preservation of all structure within the universe. That said I try not to dwell on it to much. Regardless of what eternity looks like, I am here right now and this life is ephemeral. So I try to focus on what I can do to improve this experience. To much time spent contemplating the fundamental nature of things can distort what’s important. At least in my experience.

And, what do you think is important? How do you know that?
You also wrote "life is ephemeral", and that you "try to focus on what I can do to improve this experience". What do you mean by that?
It sounds good, but without specifics doesn't mean much.

I mean that I try to stay focused on this iteration, my current lifespan as the person I currently am. Not getting to wrapped up in who I have been in past lives or when I might going in future lives. I have in the past become obsessed with figuring out who I used be and where I might be next to to the point that I stopped living in the present moment entirely, fixated on the concept of immortality.
What’s important to me is to live my life as if it was my only one. Regardless of how much I believe in reincarnation or afterlife or whatever, because no one can be absolutely certain of such things. That means staying grounded in what I can observe and what can be verified by others by trying to improve things now. In case we do only live on in the memories of others.

you just have to accept the duality of things, and one of them is life and death, things are born and things die, just as you are sad that things die you should be happy that things are being born into the world each day, this is just the nature of things and it will continue weather you accept it or not .

I have been thinking of death as long as I can imagine. It's not a bad thing. Do you use crystals? I find black crystals helpful to find answers!

I recommend reading the book " Many Lives Many Masters" By Dr. Brian Weiss
It is a book written about his experience with a client that spontaneously went into a past life during a therapy regression. Since it is written by a doctor with some authority I think it could help you with getting some answers on the subject of reincarnation.
