I can only speak for myself, but my experience of Baba and mother meera is that they are the real thing, both are Avatars. I have benefited massively from their grace. It is shame that so many will miss out on that direct experience because people who have no real experience of either, put them off by their comments.

Indeed Kalki is yet to come, according to Vaishnava schools. What I meant to say was that Krishna was the last one to be here. But yes, there is a tenth yet to come.
As for any modern day saints (including Satya Sai, Mother Meera, and a huge long list of others) traditionally they are not avatars. An avatar is God incarnate, and there would only be one at a time. Most Hindus view great Gurus, Saints, Swamis, etc as just that. Great Realised Souls, but to put 'Avatar' status on them would be untraditional. An avatara, for example, would be recognised by EVERYONE, something like the supposed second coming of Christ. There would be little debate at all.
This is not to belittle one's experiences with their Guru. Lots of devotees take pride in their Guru experience and put honorifics like Sri, Sri Sri, HH avatar, etc. on their Gurus.
But coming from a Saiva school, I personally don't believe in avatars at all, as it's not a part of Saivism.
These are just POVs from the various schools, and most of us don't enter debate on it, accepting the right for any person to consider what they want of their Guru.
