A note function in the control panel would be nice
Yes, it would.

Yes, what are you looking to accomplish with that? Maybe there's something else available to you that you can work with.

All the love I have for you in smal tiny individual notes stored away in my own private little box.

Maybe you'd like to make a compilation list of all the wonderful quotes you find in here.
Let's not the least be able to save unfinished threads/posts and work on them later when you get back up online from another destination.
The script doesn't cost anything since it's already widely avaible for free on the web, it shouldn't add much to the server load since it's a smal feature and it's not that hard to implement into the code even for the novice.
I've seen and used this function on other forums.
Since this is a community forum like most other forums I don't see why it shouldn't be implemtend. It's not like we're asking for image attachments and blog services.
Stillness.

.
I know some people who create posts and such in 'office' documents which can be saved reworked and copied in at a later date.

Unforunately we cannot always meet every request.

It makes sense to me why this would be a pointless add on. If you want a little nook of ideas, grab a notebook and paper... or just open a word file in your computer. Why waste bandwidth?

Yeah I always keep a note book and pen handy, wherever I am.
