So that's interesting - learn something new every day - had never heard of this "prosperity gospel"...Despite what some may assume, I rarely glance at any scripture or spiritual text - this was entirely new to me.. Even a quick glance can see there is definitely something a miss there..

1. The Abrahamic covenant is a means to material entitlement.

2. Jesus’s atonement extends to the “sin” of material poverty.

3. Christians give in order to gain material compensation from God.

4. Faith is a self-generated spiritual force that leads to prosperity.

5. Prayer is a tool to force God to grant prosperity.


Juts a few criticisms from "scholars" who are supposed to know and be able to compare such things... Of course they judge all that by the Judaic standard and the bible that got manufactured from that first religion..

Now at first glance it seems to be a bit of a cross between "orthodox canon" base - with a liberal sprinkling of the new age safe bet, "the Secret" lol...wholly designed to "entice new followers" - who of course are always enticed to give over money - I bet there is some pyramid structured heirachy behind it and the aim is clearly MORTAL POWER and not spiritual...

I expect it is what so much of organized religion (and I am not condemning it all here) is, a way to cash in on the hopes, dreams, and fears that are part of living life for all of us.

That's simple. In a religion what they practicing is their own system.... It's the same as a government how they do it is of its system and way of governing the country... Since they do their services for you then it's up to them to ask for something but not all of them are asking too much....or too less....... You only give the amount..... you think it's on your ability......to the church.

I see Ab Orgine has mixed up with new age with Christianity??????? Then why not for him to join or against the new age and not here.
