Work on them all as they all work with each other, start from bottom to top.

Ugh omg, in my automatic kundalini kriyas I do that sometimes. Depending how high my body makes me bend it can be more or less painful.

But it's actually less physically painful than energetically painful. :) I started to realise the difference after a while.
