Red face Third eye meditation - change of sight?

Hello there I meditate regularly and to increase awareness, I try and keep my eyes open while doing it. You know, not focusing on anything, just go into myself, while acknowledging the surroundings.

I just did a guided meditation on the third eye. At a point, my sight changed into black and white with few, sharp colours, or like a negative (for a photography).
It felt good, like I got deeper into the meditation and myself and when the meditation was over, my sight was back to normal.

Has anyone experienced something like this before? And can you tell me what happened? Does it have anything to do with the third eye?

Thanks. Love <3

It might be your physical eyes going to sleep since your attention isn't focused externally. Then you just see what's floating around inside your consciousness (which would be the colours).

I too am trying to develop my pineal gland....I've not had the black and white thing happen, although one time after my meditation I found colours were much brighter lol. I listen to Binaural beats for my meditation at the minute. I'm pretty much a beginner though trying to find out and feel what's best.

Good luck with it all ;-)
