Sometimes the job and the spiritual path converge. All of my work experiences have been this way. I do not make a lot of money, but I am placed in situations of learning, healing and faith. The learning, healing and faith are sometimes for others. Sometimes I am a pawn or an impetus. I used to only be able to see this in hindsight, but now the world seems to slow down and in the moment I see it.

And politics, as part of the human condition,... for me, they are those moments to learn to walk in grace. I do not always get it right. (Shrug) And, that is a lesson too. Hang in there.

work equals existence. or you die. that is what life has been about since the first day of humans existence. we just have it easier now. but if you have enough and dont need the income, well that's a luxury worth taking if thats what one wants.

if its the type of job thats the problem. perhaps look at options. i make less today and thats not even considering inflation. im happier and actually save more today because its not about how much i make but how much i don't spend. also it works better for my spiritual development. as mine is an energetic one, more solitude, and what i do acts as a catalyst for growth on an energetic level.

Millions,if not billions of us are in the same situation as you.Are we content to go on with our lives as they are,unchanging,day in day out for stability,or have we the courage to fight and overcome one of our greatest negative emotions and face the unknown?
My situation is similar to yours but I am going to face my fears head on,lol.I am lucky enough not to have any dependants,(apart from my 3 cats,lol) and have been able to take some time out to reflect,but times they are changing.lol.
