You're saying dissolution, the natural way of form going back to formlessness, is a violent act? Nataraja's left hand holds fire, yes, but it's hardly violence.

Perhaps some Hindus understand it this way, if they're looking at it from outside of Saivism, but within Saivism, at least most sampradayas, there is no violence here.

He also holds the revealing and concealing graces. There is just so much in Nataraja.
