We only see the beauty of the flower. For it to be perfect it's only in the eyes of who or what See's it. For a flower to be perfect to a butterfly it must provide nectar. For a flower to be perfect for the plant itself it must provide pollen or a place to catch pollen. To me one of the most perfect flowers is a dandylion. It provides everything in great numbers.

Is the cloak of love divine
And is it trapped within a shrine?
If defined and guarded with averted eyes
When is it worn and tried for size?

Does belief set its seal
On word or page-or by deed made real?
And is the heaven which is preached
Some place somewhere out of reach?

Can such a place of love be built
Using inflicted pain, or fear, or guilt?
And is perfection the end of night
Or simply offering to hold a light?

Can learned words or expertise
Like wonder, bring us to our knees?
And is all, when we see,
Also you, also me?

Ask a person who is dying from cancer and see what is their answer?

Happiness is the result of an enlightened mind whereas suffering is caused by a distorted mind.

Look at a flower just before it dies....... Would you look at it as being perfect?

Imperfection does not equal perfection
just as 1 does not equal 4.

Yes, can see this projection of perfection then is in potential. Many say we are here to learn. How do we learn.... through experiencing. It seems to be more about becoming.

If one claims they are perfect, the incentive to improve/learn is squashed.
