This will probably make those from the Northern Hemisphere feel immediately overheated

It is 22 degrees celcius, raining and the indoor wood heater is going lol. Personally, i am not cold but apparently the person in charge of the fire said that the warmth will help my clothes dry. What a kind thought... Though I think that that certain someone wants an excuse to light the heater.
Do not worry, the heater is enclosed and the clothes are hanging a fair distance from the fire!!!! No need to panic or call the fire department.

Reigning.

Welcome winter,
Single digit,
Rain combolists,
Grey lit rigid.

Faraday season,
Less than gloom,
Far from blight,
Sleepless bloom.

Succulent swirls,
Turd veil winds,
Transient hurls,
Ethereal limbs.

Toils receiver,
Muchos conform,
Sweven tree,
Exudes free-form.

Beauty is much,
As beauty sees,
Unlocked clutch,
Deaf eyes plea.

Muddied flux,
Winter flaming,
Beauties crotch,
Rain,reigning.

Temperature is about 108ºF/42.2ºC. One mountain range is on fire. Some people have had to be evacuated. Fire is over 7000 acres.

We go outside every night to look at the fire. At night time it is mystical red. During the day time, all we see is the bellowing smoke.

Wife asked if it will reach our place. I said "No!" but considering what an odd year this has been, it is anybody's guess.

May you be protected from the fire Big John.

I don't see the night sky anymore, the days are so long now. It's clear when I wake up and when I go to bed. Just love it!

Be safe, BigJohn.

Here, we have been woken at night by big winds.

The tree ate my swing. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ce6y0m6bc7...%20PM.jpg?dl=0

We had two very cold days and then today feels like summer. So, it is popsicle weather!

Ouuch! Saw your picture!

Temperature is still about 108ºF/42.2ºC. Still have the fires in the mountains. No longer under curfew. Most places insist you have to wear a mask.

Took the family to a buffet.
One man said repeatedly he will never go their again.

Water served in a paper cup. No refills.
Plastic silverware and paper plates.

No steak knives. Saw one chap eat his steak with both hands. I told the cook to cut my meat up. They had Buffalo wings but without Blue Cheese salad dressing.

You could not pick out your own food. Have to tell them what you want. That wasn't too bad by having to wait for about 15 minutes in line each time you went to get more food was not fun.

Sorry to say, we want be going back to that buffet for sometime.

Windy

The air is roaring like a lion, soil suspended in the air, blustering and blowing the tree branches hither and yon. Big old oak trees creak and groan like old men standing up from sitting long. Not a drop of rain in sight, the wind steals the moisture from my breath.
