When it begins to cause more suffering through the clinging than happiness due to the oringinal memory.
Ever heard of someone who peaked in highschool? It's a very brutal way of looking at the situation but essentially it's an "uphill from here" mentality. When a good memory begins to taint everything else that's when we're clinging to it too much. Rather than enjoying the memory of a fully lived youth a person has clung to it so much that nothing in their lives now compares to then. really soon the happy memory becomes sad because we associate the pain of clinging to it and not the original happiness.

My sister in law once told me it was like I had an angel in me Hahaha....I always remembered that. I can honestly say that Satan is alive and well living in her.

Snow Goose, I don't know how it's a big weight to carry, I think her mood in describing her experience is that it was second nature and it was uplifting to her and others. Just sayin'.

It is a little bit because I feel like people get this idea of who I am without getting to know me. I also feel like I have to live up to this idea of being an "angel" when in actuality I can be sarcastic and have a cynical sense of humor sometimes, not really something one would expect an angel to be. |

angels are as diverse as humans. anything you can expect a human to do an angel would do. God said he created an angel to guard every single thing in the universe, there's untold amounts of them

I was going to say exactly the same thing before I read it.
'Angel' is often a pleasing term of endearment - my gran used to call me it all the time, especially when I was behaving anything but - I really loved my gran.
The touching thing means that they just want to connect with you on that level. As Shoni said, you must put out a positive vibe.
I've been called many things. lol
Who you are to you is what is important, even though I am still trying to figure that one out when I probably shouldn't be.
