Strange Dream Experiences

Hello kind people, I am a newbie and would like some opinions. Many years ago when I was a teenager, I had the most interesting experience. I've never forgotten it and have always wondered what it was.

It happened sometime after I'd fallen asleep. I woke up but was not fully awake. I saw people in my room and they looked familiar, as if a group of friends came to visit. I sat up in bed to talk to them. During these conversations I was completely aware that I was not fully awake. I could hear myself talking out loud and I knew the people in the room weren't really there. I remember saying out loud that "this is ridiculous because I know I am sleeping and alone", however the conversations continued for quite some time as I couldn't seem to control it enough to stop.

Another strange experience, fast forward to young adulthood. After falling asleep I awoke (again not fully) to something pinning me down on the bed with much force and I couldn't move. I remember my nightgown being pulled up around my waist and almost feeling violated. That one freaked me out.

Now as an older adult I find that I dream almost every night. Sometimes I remember them, other times I don't. But I do have reoccurring dreams regularly of a paranormal nature. I feel I'm being sucked by some unseen force to the corner ceiling of the room I'm in and can look down on my own body laying there. I try to fight it (I think because I am afraid of heights) but I have no control. I also dream regularly that I have telekinesis and can move objects with my mind. Those dreams feel so real that when I wake up I feel like I actually have the power, but In reality, I don't.

Lastly, I've had 2 dreams right after someone close to me passed over where they came into my dreams with very specific messages. Those were visits, I am positive if that and very comforting.

I've been told that I talk in my sleep, act out psychically (just short of sleep walking). Maybe I just have an overactive imagination. I sleep very well and very deeply it seems. I'm new to learning about astral travel, OBE and lucid dreaming. I can't help wonder if any of this falls into those categories?

Does anyone have any feedback on my sleep time oddities? Are these normal sleep time experiences? I get that most dreams are just a jumble of memories and random thoughts but these feel very different from the usual chaos! Appreciate the discussion.

I believe your messages from people who have passed are real.
I have had a few of those.
One of the messages I received I found out another women connected to the person who passed received the exact same message in a dream....so that totally confirmed they are real :)
