Before reiki rituals

Hello!

So i have my reiki 2 degree, and I have been giving more and more reikis. I havent had any of my clients have any issues with feeling or seeing things, but i myself am. Sometimes i feel not in it, i am doing reiki i can feel it, but when i close my eyes i dont see anything or get any messages. This is fairly new to be happening as before i was.

Im curious to see if anyone has any before reiki rituals they do before giving a reiki? Like when youre at home getting ready for it! Id love to hear what you all do, and try them! Thanks in advance!

my 2 cents..

before doing reiki to the clients I always do a grounding meditation first. The aim of this meditation is to energetically connect to the center of the earth (to so called magmatic core). By doing it you are cleansing your own energy system and centering your aura around your body. After approx. 5 minutes you might start feeling tingling sensations either in your feet or palms of your hands and this gives you a signal that a connection has been made and energies exchanged.

grounding itself acts like your protection. and I recommend it especially when you have to treat patients with complicated diseases or heavy karma.
