Sun Dogs and the fifth world

Had the opportunity today to observe what looked like a single prism along the sky. Eventually it showed as two prisms surrounding the sun and one would present itself at times as pure white light instead of the normal prism spectrums of light. Found a few articles, and it was named a Sun Dog. The part of the article below regarding the Wobbly Pony and what it symbolizes speaks to me. Is anyone familiar with the Hopi and Navajo interpretation ?

Thanks. New to me but figured it was worth sharing.

Sun light reflecting and refracting off high thin cirrus and cirro-stratus clouds. Could forecast rain, as a storm front is approaching.

Totally agree with the cause from a light refraction. Timing wise and the story caught my attention. Thanks.
