woodchuck ?

I have seen a variety of animals crossing the road, sometimes the strangest ones at the strangest locations.

As I was driving thru a residential neighborhood this morning, I saw what at first glance, some distance away.... seemed to be a chubby squirrel

It stopped in the middle of the road and as I got closer I saw it was a woodchuck ! First time I have seen one of those in real life, I stopped and he ran to finish crossing the road.

Curious, if there was a sign or message in seeing this animal? Thoughts ?

I would see it as meaning you were working hard on something. I think of them as digging in the dirt. Maybe you're digging into a project.

Thank you for your link also, that's one I haven't seen before. Good point about " Though sometimes the answer lies in what the animal is doing rather than what animal it is. " I usually focus on the animal, thanks for the added suggestion !
