For Anne .....

I am thinking today of my oldest sister Anne, who died in 2008 in her home in Canada.

It was totally unexpected and a great shock and loss to us all, as you will understand, but as the years pass, and my thoughts on life and death have evolved, I know that this life is but a blink of an eye in the grand scheme of things.

The universe is vast, and time is infinite for those on the " other side"

One day we will all meet again, and until then, she and all those we have loved and "lost" will watch over us in unseen silence ....... or so it seems, until we have our eyes opened to the subtle ways that they can encourage and connect with us.

My eyes are wide open now ...... God bless Anne xx

Thanks mon ami xx

I am a lot more at peace now with the reality of losing our loved ones.

They aren't gone from us in the way I used to think ...... temporary separation yes, but still all around us, and soon to meet again and again, in infinite ways.

This life is but the blink of an eye ...... our true self ..... our "soul" if you like, is eternal, as we seek to raise ourselves higher.

It is only natural to have these feelings of loss ..... but I am gradually starting to understand the bigger picture I think.
