I really can not tell with my own anger whether red colors add to it or not. Too angry to know the difference at times either way perhaps. Not a good thing, has to definitely be worked on, I'd really like to figure it out soon.

It seems like these particular stones work really well with folks with the fire signs. It's amusing to see the Fire elementals ( sagitarious/Leos) feel 'sick' with Earth elemental stones ( malachite, obsidian). In contrast, I felt similar with the red /orange stones. It use to be I couldn't stand these fire theme stones. Your probably deeply empath too and yes, I do also feel these types of stones can amplify high vibrational energy including anxiety and anger. I had a problem with these stones in the past in the wake of my spiritual awakening. Than I had yet learned how to stabilize and balance my own energy. If your feeling wonky, agitated, I definitely agree not to have them around. O I have been working a great deal on my root chakra and the sacral, so I feel it can be beneficial in these areas. It really is a happy, vibrant positive stone if the thought process is aligned to work with it.

Oh hey, I also purchased a Celestite heart cluster, it is a very beautiful 'light' energy. It truly is a positive vibe. It's my first celestite, In my opinion, I was expecting it to be more stronger, or feel a stronger pull to it and I feel I dont really get that. Its just light energy. Lighter than rose quartz in my opinion. I love and adore it though.

Nice! An awesome holiday gift for yourself, and for the crystal as well.

I find faucet water can damage stones, I use to work in jewelry and we advised regular cleaning or using hard water has the potential to damage stones, especially the quartz families and lighter stones like celestite for example.

You can charge them with moonlight!

I heard putting them in sunlight cleanses and charges them too, but caution sunlight can damage stones too.

Thanks for the suggestions, and I really like the idea of the visualization technique you mentioned.

Going to 'my' crystal shop this weekend. Not sure what I'll get, depends on the prices, my budget doesn't allow for much at the mo.
But I SO want a rainbow calcite!!

I do admire your taste. Being a rare form of stony-iron meteorite, pallasites have such an incredible history.

Cut and polished stones that I have seen (and handled) were quite beautiful and very desirable objects but a good example is beyond my price range sadly.

I have collected a lot of cystals, many types of quartz, feldspar, chalcedony and others. I have collected most of the classics and focus on larger raw specimens 8-30 lbs. They make really nice displays and conversation pieces.

The one that I haven't gotten around to getting is a nice large chunk of Tiger eye. I love the way it shimmers, I have a nice piece of labradorite, so I should be happy, but Tiger eye is different and has a unique tone to it.

I would also love to get a huge 60 + LBS nicely formed chunk of anything cool like natural citrine, amethyst, quartz, fluorite, tourmaline, something monster big that I could use as a focus point in my living room.

Speaking of tourmaline, I love the pictures of the tourmaline you posted Saturinepluto ! It's my wife's favorite stone. The red one looks especially nice but I have seen extremely impressive examples of blue ( indicollite ) as well. One year for Christmas I bought her a couple large tourmaline stones sort of like those. One was a 160 carat tri-coloured tourmaline peach, pink and green. It's really stunning and looks great on the coffee table....don't ask me what I paid, it was a stupid high price, but the woman gets what she wants...she always does

AAAHHHHH ! So Annoying and exhilarating at the same time !

It seems I will never be done collecting ! Almost everyday I see some type of cool stone I want. The latest now is a Hemimorphite crystal. For those not familiar it's a really interesting almost neon blue and forms lovely bubble type crystals. It would be something way different for my collection. Normally it's really rare to see anything large but some of my Chinese suppliers have some 20-30 lbs specimens at the moment.

I really would want a special variety of Chalcedony in my collection. It's called the 'Blue Storm' variety and is found in Africa. It really has the Chalcedony treats but with a far deeper blue color. It's really lovely.

An example of a Blue Storm Chalcedony pendant.
