For the most part, they will agree with you. But that's part of the entire problem with this ... even within Hinduism, we have the 'My way is the right way' mentality, and really nobody is excluded, except for those who really can see the bigger picture. Traditional Smarta, right from Sankara mutts, is a strong system of belief, and from the mutts, they are able to recognise that all the others are great too. At that level, everyone gets along for the most part. It's the newcomers and lay people engrossed in ego that want to argue and debate. Ego equals insecurity. But from the other systems POV, there is a certain watering down there that doesn't quite feel right, which explains our diversity.

'my way is the right way' is a human weakness and very few are immune to it.

I prefer to state my position and leave it at that. Debates are rarely productive.
