The wheel of fortune does not depict feelings per say... It can however point to someone feeling stuck in a rut, wanting change, tired of the same old cycle, hoping to get off the merry-go-round. It depends how it falls in the reading and what intuitive thoughts come up while reading the card.

That's what came up in the reading I did for my sister in the feelings position. The meaning of the card is different than most peoples perception. The wheel of fortune card in my perception is positive...but I'm getting a lot of different point of views. This may help...the card before it as how her partner sees her was two of swords upright and the outcome was the fool. The middle card was the wof as feelings.

In my tarot [Sacred Circle] this card becomes simply "The Wheel" and symbolises the passage of time and the cosmic forces of change.
It indicates that all things are temporary and change at the whim of fate. Often called Karma. Everything has a time and place, not as you would want it but in it's proper season. All farmers know this well.
It calls on you to be aware of the ebb and flow of changes all around you.

Most often I have heard the terms "fate" or "soul contract" identified with the wheel of fortune. My interpretation of this in a position that indicates feelings or emotions would be that the person either feels this is fated or feels obligated; this might also suggest karma as someone said above.

For me the wheel of fortune shows that we can not predict what will happen fate is blind we have choices to make but life is continuous so what will happen will happen. Life can be hard at times but also yields positive results. Sometimes the meaning can have more relevance with the surrounding cards.

I often wonder whether my sitter might be the one on the up as the wheel approaches it's zenith or the one falling off the wheel on it's way down and look to surrounding cards to verify the trend the wheel's appearance in the reading is trying to communicate.

Either way it is a good indicator and reminder of the cyclical nature of creation, as is the lemnisate above the Magicians head, but that's another card.

I really like this! I think too in regard to feelings....it could indicate the person involved needs to sort out all the feelings they've accumulated from their different experiences. Some tarot cards see the Wheel of Fortune as the Wheel of Life and astrologically as one's natal chart.
