I was reading some posts/comments on some other forum website, there was a lot of swearing there, couldn't those people have expressed their feelings without swearing; then i opened spiritualforums.com for cleaning my mind by reading posts/replies of here. I've seen abuses written by people on other websites. Thank you admins/mods here for keeping spiritualforums.com clean of swearing/abuses :)

There is never an acceptable reason for swearing etc. and it happens when moderators are not active, effectively forums without moderation. On occasional visits to websites where I'm not a registered member I have seen such unregulated activity myself and been shocked at the indiscipline of some users. Such boorish behavior mirrors what's sometimes seen in public on streets and even in parks.

SF is well moderated with bad behavior and language quickly stamped on, just as it deserves to be.

I often wonder if these people, who are conveniently shielded behind their computer screens, would have had the same "brassy" attitude had they been face to face with the person/s they do not hesitate to offend anonymously.....I am thinking "no"....

Thank you so much for your kind feedback, Kralaro. Swearing and language is definitely an area the staff puts a great deal of importance in.

Always nice to read feedback, as its not always the easiest position to be in when enforcing the rules, so thank you
