Spells for others vs. Spells for me

I do great spells. I do big spells and spells for other people to help them with their problems. I am guided and my guides do spells for me, or help me do what is needed.

However, if there is something that I want I don't get it. Before I do a spell I check to see if it is possible. Some things aren't meant to be. If it is for something I want then the answer is always 'no'...I never get what I want.
I get what I need, which is helpful but man does not live on bread alone. There is more to life then sustenance and shelter. There is supposed to be joy and laughter, purpose and love and satisfaction. Those would be the desirables.

I did do a big spell yesterday to try and improve things for myself. I had to get other people to help me. It better work, or else there will be big problems around here.

I know that it is unsual to not be able to do a spell to get what one desires. That is pretty much the whole purpose of practicing magic in the first place.

There is a huge difference when performing spells for others and for yourself. We tend to neglect (subconsciously) any spells directed towards others. And when one is performing a spell for oneself, there seems to be a habit of questioning whether the spell works, or not. Thus, this leads to the spell from ever manifesting. I like to think of it as a Sigil. The Sigil will manifest itself when one is unconscious behind the meaning of a Sigil.

I don't know if I understood that. My spells for others always work. Sometimes things don't work in the way that you expect, but they do serve their purpose.

I work with guardians, or higher self, whatever term you prefer and they know everything, including all the consequences so I always consult them before I do anything. For somebody else, I get the 'go'...For me, I don't get the 'go'. The process is just entirely different when it comes to my own desires. I did do a big spell for what I want, and I had help to do it. I don't expect much improvement but I do expect some, or I wouldn't have done the spell. I wouldn't have had the inspiration and the 'go' if there were to be no results. I am not expecting a big change, but an improvement. I have people helping me. People who do magic, who I respect. So we'll see.


I know that personal will, is a large ingredient, but it isn't the only ingredient. I do use sigils, it is one of my techniques.

Rozie - there's a big part of your problem - not expecting much improvement! One often gets what they're expecting.

As well, you're dwelling on this spell and keeping it from doing what it's supposed to do. Let it go. Also, give it time to work - many people expect instant results but often it could take a couple of months to manifest.

Yes I know that things take time. I think this giant spell is working but I am not sure exactly how yet.

I am not dwelling on it. I did it and then I observe the changes. There have been changes but I am not sure how it is supposed to work. I am patient and I observe, and wait.

I think the changes will give me more freedom. Not sure yet though.

Anyway, thanks for the advice.
