WHAT HAPPENED TO ME???

This Reiki session BLEW MY MIND! I have had Reiki sessions in the past, but I have never experienced ANYTHING like this before! The guy who did the session used black and white crop circle shapes and crystals under the bench i was laying on, and he did everything in 3's.

The first part of the session was relaxing and calming. Then i had a swell of emotions and had tears running down my face for a while. Towards the end when he was at my feet, it got kinda wierd!

Obviously he wasn't touching me. My feet got really hot and the heat gradually rose up my legs and then this feeling started to come over me in waves that slowly intensified - wigged me out a bit, thought i was having an inappropriate experience! Then as the waves hit their peak I had this rushing feeling and suddenly I felt like my entire being was immediately sucked out of me and SHOVED straight back in!!! While this was happening, there was this bright golden light with my eyes staring straight back at me in surprise! Like this but just the eyes! I also felt like my chest lifted from the table when i got sucked out.

WIGGED-ME-OUT. Took my breath away. It wasn't a bad experience, it just wasn't what I was expecting! At all. What happened to me???

When I was able to move afterwards, I looked at the guy who did the Reiki, and I said "What . the . hell . was . that . ???"
and he said, shaking his head with very big eyes, "I don't know..." He was as wigged out as I was!

He told me he could feel the heat in my feet, and then he said I started shaking from my feet upwards until my whole body was shaking! He said he felt these really strong vibrations going thru him too and he couldn't open his eyes.

This guy is only just learning. Did he do Reiki, or stumble across something else???? I can't get my head round it. It was quite amazing.
He also said he saw the blue lights of a spaceship as it was taking off and those big headed big black eyed skinny aliens. WHAT THE?

If I may ask, for what reason were you getting Reiki? As in, why were you there?

It sounds to me like you had "magnified" effects of the Reiki energy. Perhaps it was the crystals, perhaps the symbols. Perhaps that's what you were really looking for...

I've had interesting things happened while both receiving and giving Reiki.

I had just broken up with my boyfriend of 2yrs, and went to spend the weekend up in the hills with a dear friend of mine. They were actually holding a health retreat for the weekend, so i ended up joining in. The shift in my emotions and my thoughts after the Reiki was more than dramatic. It's like all the hurt and anger just disappeared. Poof...just gone! I feel lighter

They say Reiki gives you what you need. Here's and example:

I was at a Reiki class. Almost all the time when I'm involved with Reiki, I get very warmed up. In this case, I was definitely warmed up. When it was my turn to get on the table to receive, the woman started giving me Reiki. What was great was that if felt cool. It was as it there were a cool breeze coming from her hands. It was exactly what I needed. Afterward, the woman who was giving the Reiki said she was really confused. She's always thought that the energy is supposed to be warm. So, in this case, when it was cool, she didn't know what was going on. When I explained, she had a good "ah-hah" moment. It was also a good teaching moment too. Just let it happen and don't try to control it.

In this case you described, it sounds like the Reiki you received gave you exactly what you needed. A good clearing of the negative energy surrounding the breakup. After 2 years, I'd think the hurt was pretty deep so it would take a lot to remove it. So it was a very intense experience for you. My guess would be that the crystals amplified the affect too.

One of the interesting things that occurred to me while receiving Reiki occurred soon after these series of events unfolded. I was on the table receiving Reiki at a Reiki share. There was one person at my head, one at my feet, and one on my right side. I could feel both of the woman's hands on my right side. Suddenly, I could feel a pair of hands on my left side. It felt like someone came up to the table on the left and started giving me Reiki on my left side for a while. After I got off the table, I asked who had come up on the left and they said no one had. I can only guess who it was. But after finding out about my twin, I'm pretty sure it was her.

So I guess that goes to show that people/things can show up during a Reiki session. You'll just need to figure out who/what may have shown up during yours.

One thing interesting that occurred while I was giving Reiki was a vision that I had. I was giving Reiki to a woman at a share. All of a sudden, I saw a pod of dolphins swimming through the water. I didn't get a chance to find out what that message meant because the woman on the table got up and left quickly. But it would have been interesting to find out if it had meaning for her.
