simple yes/no way to read Tarot
A few years ago I made up a really simple way to read Tarot to answer yes/no questions. I've had a lot of success with it and maybe someone else will find it helpful.
First of all, I keep my cards in an old tea caddy. Because of the way the deck is angled, there is no up or down. When I really need a yes/no answer to a question, I cut the deck (still in the caddy) and read whatever card comes up on the bottom on my cut. If the card is upright, the answer is "yes". If it is reversed, the answer is "no".
Some years ago I was working on a book with a friend. He lives overseas and communication wasn't always easy. I hadn't heard from him in quite some time, and I was worried. So I asked if he was upset with me, and I cut the cards. The six of cups showed up in the upright position, and in this deck, it showed a boy and a girl playing in a field with the cups around them. This explained exactly how our working relationship was, and I knew all was well.
The whole process took about two minutes but it was right on.
